Local Citizen Climate Action

Tuesday, November 9, 2021 - 19:00 to 21:00
Canada Room

Local Citizen Climate Action has been postponed. Once confirmed, details of the rescheduled event will be posted here.

How we live and work together in communities and cities can have a huge impact in tackling climate breakdown. The effects of the planetary crisis differ from region to region. Even communities within the same region can see vast differences in how they are affected by climate change.

Climate change is a huge challenge, but we already know many solutions. Local citizen climate action allows communities to prioritise measures which will benefit them, limiting the impacts of climate change both at a local level and further afield.

Thinking and acting at a local level helps communities fight climate change and build resilience to climate impacts.

Part of the COP26 series organised by the Centre for Sustainability, Equality and Climate Action at QUB and Belfast Climate Commission
